Working with you to create lasting beautiful spaces that

bring  joy & comfort to the way you live...

Una, 1920's Miners cottage

Bringing this 1920's miners cottage back to her post war glory was a labor of love. Remaining authentic to the era as much as possible was the vision together with fresh colour choices and some 'must haves' including keeping the fireplace in the lounge room.

An 8 square extension and a willingness by the builders to keep as much as much as possible, saw this cottage restored beautifully. One delight was that the original floor boards (ash) in the front section of the cottage were kept and they set the scene for solid timber ash flooring throughout the rebuild.

The approach was to retain the period features, spacious ceiling height & timber double hung windows throughout the entire build setting the scene for a true restoration. The original fireplaces were maintained and complemented with ducted heating throughout.

Revampbyjo: Preparation of project scope, Builder engagement, Floor plan design, cottage style defined, colour scheme (internal & external) including tiles and light fittings. Vision boards for each room. Builder liaison.

Heritage ensuite reno

Renovation and styling of a 1980's built ensuite into a 100 year old heritage styled ensuite.

The owners have refurnished and styled some of their home with furniture and artifacts of a bygone era. Their dream was to then renovate their ensuite in the style of their passion, with & fixtures & fittings reflective of early century Victorian.

The owner had a clear vision & had purchased beautiful fixtures & fittings along the way indicative of this period in time. Authentic products made this project shine together with a decision to go with red wine & warm white tiles, layed traditionally.

Revampbyjo: Preparation of project scope, support to provide clients with  confidence to get the long awaited project done. Room layout planning + elevation drawings for trades. Build and trade engagement. Onsite reviews.

Total transformation

Built in the 80's by the present owners, this clinker brick home sits proudly on an acre surrounded by beautiful gardens and established workshops.

Wanting to build a new home and potentially move, the owners finally decided to stay put and renovate. The project took over a year to complete & the investment was considerable but supported a total renovation leaving nothing behind of the old. All windows were replaced, the roof was heightened in places, all door jams were heightened, no cornicing throughout, walls were moved to create new space and the existing flooring had to go!

The result was a transformation that gave the owners a totally new designer home that has its own style and personality. I would call it modern contemporary in style with a clean and subtle colour palette complemented with stunning oak designer flooring, black accents throughout and beautiful fixtures and appliances.

Revampbyjo: Worked with client  for the entire project in adviser role, provided influential design creative adopted by the owners, over saw colour theme, fixtures & fitting choices, finishes and overall big picture look & feel.

Modern refresh

Images coming soon

Built on 3/4 acre, this architectural designed large family home was built to last!

The task on hand is to transform this house into the new owners 'forever' home. Watch this space over the next 6 months as we tackle the task of realising a vision based on current trends and blended with a bit of country and a sprinkle of Hampton's colours to bring it together...

A challenging project but one the owners and myself are wanting to take on!
